At the end of September 2022, we held, together with Hasco Ibérica, a technical conference attended by nearly 100 guests from our sector.

• Carlos Alves Diz, our president, opened the event with a very interesting presentation that gave an insight into the association's activities and parallels in the industry. He invited all participants to join in order to strengthen themselves further, using our partnership as an innovative tool for cooperation and solutions with a view to a targeted collaboration in the mold making and plastics processing industry. 

• Daniel Vizuete Andújar, General Manager of Hasco Ibérica, reported on the history of the revolutionary idea of standardization in mold manufacturing, on the path traveled so far and the objectives of the manufacturer of international standard parts. Through the consistent application of quality standards for steels and standard parts, significant time and cost savings can be achieved along the entire value chain in mold making. Constant standardization has been shown to increase productivity and thus significantly increase competitiveness. As a full-range supplier with a portfolio of more than 100,000 products, Hasco supplies everything from a single source and thus makes a significant contribution to increasing the efficiency and profitability of modern mold making.

• Finally, Hasco Ibérica gave a detailed overview of current developments and future developments, especially with regard to the K trade fair in Düsseldorf. 

• During the breaks and at the cosy closing dinner, all participants took the opportunity to exchange experiences and have intense discussions. Due to the positive response, this event is planned to be repeated for next year.
